I use verizon for mobile wireless so I don’t really have to do this, but I think it’s a good thing to know how to do.
- Enable “Network Connection” in the Internet Sharing program by editing the registry
- [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\InternetSharing\settings]
- Set “AT&T ISP” to “Media NET”
- Pair Phone and Mac.
- Make Bluetooth LAN network connection on Mac
- After the Mac has found the phone and been paired, go to System Preferences -> Network
- Click the “+” to add a new service. Choose Bluetooth Pan.
- Start Internet Sharing on Phone
- In the Internet Sharing application set:
- PC Connection to Bluetooth PAN
- Network Connection to MEdia Net
- Click Connect
- In the Internet Sharing application set:
- Connect to Bluetooth Pan Network on Mac
- On the Bluetooth icon in the Mac menu bar, find the phone,
- Choose Connect to Network
- You should now be connected to the internet.
For a registry editor, I use Total Commander.
